Information about opportunities to participate in PjBL projects is communicated to students using selected means of communication, such as the PjBL website, announcements, information meetings, etc.

An academic teacher may supervise one project team per semester.

One project is planned for each field of study. The project team should consist of 3 to 5 students.

The project team leader is selected from among the students working on the project in the PjBL formula.

The project supervisors themselves select the leader of the supervisors from among themselves.

Only those forms of classes included in the recognition matrix are subject to credit. Other forms, such as lectures or exercises, must be completed by the student in accordance with the study program. The exception are courses in which the program provides for only one form of class (e.g., only a project).

There is no formal limit. However, a reasonable balance should be maintained between the number of ECTS credits and the student’s workload, especially since the project is completed within a single semester. Moreover, any additional student achievements outside the curriculum should also be taken into account.

Yes, provided that the intended learning outcomes achieved in the laboratory or during the classes correspond to the project tasks. Their compliance and feasibility will be assessed by the dean, who may recommend possible modifications.

Yes, this is even preferred, but the leading program should be indicated and the participation of students and supervisors representing both programs should be ensured.

Yes. Applications from part-time first-cycle students and from second-cycle students will not be considered.

Yes. Funds for supervisors will be allocated within each project and distributed proportionally to their involvement

Some study programs include projects that may be implemented using the PjBL method. However, the content, scope of student tasks, and appropriate distribution of teaching loads must be agreed upon so as not to increase the overall teaching hours. Future program adjustments may be necessary (e.g., standardizing the semester in which projects are implemented).

The learning outcomes required for the completion of an engineering thesis cannot be recognized within the PjBL framework. However, the completed project tasks may serve as a basis for further development within the diploma thesis.

No such dependency was assumed in the current edition. However, cooperation with the environment is permitted provided that there are no additional costs.

Withdrawal of a student from a project within a period not exceeding the first 30% of the classes scheduled for a given semester in the study program results in the need to achieve learning outcomes through standard classes included in the study program.
In the event of a student’s later withdrawal from the project or failure to achieve the intended learning outcomes, it will be necessary to repeat the classes in accordance with university regulations.
